This is my image for this week's Illustration Friday- O P I N I O N. It has been a challenging week. One good yell can certainly cleanse my soul. aheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........... Now, that is better.

This week's Illustration Friday subject is Tales & Legends. This is my spin...music saves the world.

I am currently working with a poet who is a breast cancer survivor. She has shared her poetry with me about her journey with this disease. This is one of the images I did in reaction to her poem "The Answer". My intention is to create images around her incredible poetry and then partner in publishing a book and supportive materials for this community.

I have not had a chance to submit an image to Illustration Friday for so long. I am very happy for Brianna.

my paradise

My notion of paradise is probably not terribly rooted in reality. Or maybe it is, and I just haven't visited it yet. Or, maybe it is a combination of different places I have seen over time.
I created this piece after a dear friend unexpectedly died. I image him in his paradise....and hope that when my time is up...I will land in my paradise also.
