My notion of paradise is probably not terribly rooted in reality. Or maybe it is, and I just haven't visited it yet. Or, maybe it is a combination of different places I have seen over time.I created this piece after a dear friend unexpectedly died. I image him in his paradise....and hope that when my time is up...I will land in my paradise also.

Very pretty, love the flowers especially.
This is beautiful!
It's beautiful. Your color sense has always been wonderful.
I remember you from the Artists Workshop on St. Maartin 21 years ago and have seen your work hear and there over the years. Nice that you have started a blog.
Sorry about your friend. Nice image to think of.
I wasn't going to bother correcting "Artist's Workshop"--I meant "Illustrator's Workshop"; but when I saw that I had typed "hear" for "here", I had to re-post or look like a total moron. Sheesh! Sorry.
This is a very moving visual tribute to your friend. It has the grace and beauty of a Japanese print...the flowers are so delicate and the colors so peaceful. Beautiful work!
SO sorry to hear about your friend, this is a beautiful world you created for him!!
Very beautiful sentiment and rendering. This is such a powerful piece. Have visited your homepage in the past - you are the Master!
